(NYPOST) — A 36-year-old school aide at East Bronx Academy for the Future knocked up a student — even throwing a baby shower for her, officials have revealed.
The sexual misconduct came to light last year when paraprofessional Raymond Gonzalez asked for a week off, explaining that he was going to become a dad, according to a report released by Special Schools Investigator Richard Condon.
Gonzalez threw a baby shower at his home, investigations learned. A co-worker attended the shower but didn’t realize the mom-to-be was a student at the East Morrisania school. He and the student had a gift registry at Babies “R” Us.
