It is a sad day for WND when you allow dreck like "Cop pulls over driver for drinking coffee" to infest this site. It is nothing less than a tragedy to have made this lie today's lead story. It is the height of irresponsibility for WND to post this kind of falsehood, trashing the men in blue just for daring to enforce the LAW.
You had to know that this title is a LIE (even the contents of the article itself corrects the title!) when you let it get past you. If you didn't, you should still be fired, but instead, for being incompetent.
The article is clear that the woman was ticketed for two entirely appropriate reasons: 1) "Inattentive driving", and 2) Not fastening her seat belt. Both are completely legitimate, totally legal, and absolutely reasonable actions by the peace officer involved. Again, the article itself puts the lie to the title!

Yet, in WND's ongoing campaign against law and order (an absolutely unthinkable and untenable position – in an age of terror and in an American already suffering under Obama's similiar war on cops) an everyday, normal, absolutely correct decision on the part of law enforcement in your eyes is another horrible police SCANDAL. The woman got what she deserved, and this title is as false as it is possible to be.
Shame on you, and shame on WND, for the sick, sad decision to put this screaming lie of a headline at the top of the main page. Shame on you for taking the side of terrorists and criminals, rather than our men in blue, for lying to make the police the bad guys, rather than siding with law and order.

This is not just another lefty, anti-authority news site run by radicals who delight in trashing the "pigs." This is supposed to be the ALTERNATIVE to this kind of false smear. This is supposed to be a Christian site, which reports fact. Shame on you all!
We readers stand with the law enforcement officers and against this sick kind of hatchet job on our fine officers, who are literally the only thing between us and complete chaos.

You, sir, may keep your job now, but you will One Day give account for this offensive sin.
