Guns for the Syrians

I have a really crazy idea.

I really don't want to have many refugees from Syria coming over here. I think it is way too problematic on a national security level. So I am in favor of arming the fleeing populace of Syria in Syria.

Perhaps we could have a gun-donation program from patriotic Americans who would like to help with fighting ISIS. We could have the NRA run a donation program that would donate up to 50 million guns to the refugees in Syria along with some good quality ammo and see what happens. By the way, us poor Americans would still only have about 250 million guns left … I told you it was a crazy idea.

The refugees could stay and fight and put up a very nice resistance against ISIS and whoever else is messing with their country. In the meantime we can sit back and enjoy watching ISIS getting hammered by a well armed militia.
