GunTV, a new home shopping channel, is set to launch this January, giving Second Amendment enthusiasts the ability to purchase firearms from the comfort of their couches, with the click of a remote button.
As AJC reported: "[The new] firearms home shopping channel is set to launch in early 2016. The channel, presented by the Social Responsibility Network, has partnered with Louisiana firearms distributor Sports South, 'the country's oldest and largest single-source distributor of firearms and ammunition.'"

The way it works is customers will place orders from their home, and then Sports South will ship the merchandise to a firearms' dealer in the customer's area. The transaction isn't final until the customer goes to the dealer and completes the background check and other required actions, the Gateway Pundit reported.

Sports South President Tripper Dickson said on GunTV's website: "Sports South is delighted to help GunTV bring this innovative concept to our industry and our strong network of retail dealers. We believe this platform has great potential to generate excitement and sales while sending the right message to a broader audience."

The planned programming for January emphasis firearms' safety.
GunTV will start with six hours of daily programming, but organizers think it will expand operations to 24/7 before the end of 2016.
