Those critical questions should be asked separately and in the debates among Republican candidates for president.

It would be important to know also where they stand in regard to an Article V convention of the states. Systemic changes in our federal government are needed desperately to ensure that liberty, once abundant here, does not go the way of the buffalo. For example, returning power to the states and the people by abolishing the 16th and 17th Amendments would be a major step in freeing our republic from the chains of slavery forged by the tyrants and psychopaths of D.C.
