(AL.COM) — A Madison City Schools teacher was in jail Thursday after allegedly shooting the 18-year-old boyfriend of his daughter, who is a minor.
Fitzgerald Bouvier McQueen, 50, of Harvest is charged with first-degree assault in the younger man's shooting. According to the Madison County Sheriff's Office, the shooting victim was a family friend who had a romantic relationship with the girl.
Additional charges may be filed in the case at a later date, said Investigator Jeremy Hughes.
