A Catholic church's website in Sydney, Australia, was hacked by the Islamic State group and littered with beheading videos.
Our Lady of Mercy Syriac Catholic Church was the target of an ISIS attack Dec. 3, with a message for its members of prolonged war until Rome is dominated by Islam.

"Hacked by ISIS," the website's landing page read, the Daily Mail reported. "Now our fighting has come! We don't negotiate expect with canon. We don't have dialogues expect with guns. We will not talk except strength. We will not stop fighting until we make [Muslim call to prayer] by Allahu's will in conquest, as a promise from Allahu, and Allahu does not break his promise. Russia will be [governed by] Allahu."

ISIS has had Rome in its sights since July 2014, when Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi became the first Caliph since the Ottoman empire.

"Rush O Muslims to your state. It is your state. Syria is not for Syrians and Iraq is not for Iraqis. The land is for the Muslims, all Muslims. ... This is my advice to you. If you hold to it you will conquer Rome and own the world, if Allah wills," the terror leader said in an audio message released July 2, 2014.
Most of Our Lady of Mercy's congregants come from Iraq and Syria, the newspaper reported. Parish priest Rahal said members felt a "wave of anger and hurt" at the news.
"The Islamic State is not happy enough to kill and send the Christians out of their countries but now they want to deny them the help needed to survive once they arrive to this beautiful place we all call home," the church said on its Facebook page Dec 3. "This attack seems to carry with it a threat to the Church here in Sydney."
Rahal told the newspaper that proper law enforcement agencies were alerted. The church regained full control over its website before the end of the day.
