Among his comments at his Monday evening South Carolina rally: The media is "scum" and "the mainstream media want to surrender the Constitution," he said, the Hill reported.

Trump mentioned NBC reporter Katy Tur, and told of her previous story of his leaving a rally early – a story he said was false.
"She's back there, Little Katy," Trump said, the Hill reported. "What a lie it was ... what a lie it was for NBC to have written that. Total lies ... a third-rate reporter. Remember that. Third rate."
Tur responded on Twitter.
"Awww," she wrote. "Women in the crowd are giving me sympathetic looks."
