A Brooklyn web developer has come up with a device that takes away all mentions of Donald Trump from the Internet – a so-dubbed Trump Filter extension for Google Chrome users.
It's created by Rob Spectre, the same developer who previously devised a device to block baseball's Derek Jeter, the darling of the New York Yankees, from the Internet. And the anti-Trump product does its scrubbing magic in the same way – by offering three levels of blocking based on sensitivity preferences: mild, aggressive and vindictive, the Hill reported.

"I am doing this out of a profound sense of annoyance and patriotic duty," Spectre said, the Hill reported.

He also said his hope was to draw away some of the massive media attention Trump's received and give it to other candidates.

"I hope folks will take this opportunity to learn more about the wide field of candidates out there," he said to CNN Money. "People are looking to turn him off."
The Jeter blocking tool, when it debuted, was dubbed a big draw for Boston fans.
Jim Rome, at JeterFiletr.com, explained: "If you can't stand Derek Jeter, you can personally wipe him off your own Internet. ... Shoot on over to Google Chrome where you can now access a Jeter filter. That's right. The filter will seek and destroy any mention of Jetes from your entire web experience. This is for real. You know, sort of like a spam filter only instead of snagging Viagra offers, mail order brides and stay-at-home job opportunities, this thing filters out stories about 3,000 hits, lateral quickness and range ... and little black books full of 9's and 10's. You know, Jeter stories."
