(THE HILL) Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.) publicly questioned Donald Trump this week on a slew of issues, including the celebrity Republican presidential candidate's "many affairs."
Sasse fired off more than a dozen tweets focused on the businessman's White House bid, praising him for having "struck a chord" among Americans and being "on a huge roll."
The lawmaker went so far as to congratulate Trump for likely being the "next POTUS." However, he launched a flurry of questions focusing on Trump's conservative credentials.
