At least seven were killed in a series of coordinated bombing and gun attacks in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, in an assault that's being likened to the one that struck Paris at several locations at the same time.
Nobody's yet claimed responsibility, but military analysts say it has all the makings of ISIS, the terror group at the heart of the simultaneous Paris attacks, CNN reported.

The attacks, which included five separate blasts all around the same time frame, went forth in the city's shopping district and targeted at least one police station and a Starbuck's coffee shop. The attackers useed grenades and traded fire with police.
"You couldn't get much more central in Jakarta if you tried," said Jeremy Douglas, a U.N. official who works in the agency's Office on Drugs and Crime, CNN reported. "It's basically right smack dab in the central business area. If you wanted to make an impact, and get visibility for what you're trying to do, this is the place to do it."
