(IDAHO STATESMAN) — George Kennedy, known for his roles in “Cool Hand Luke,” four “Airport” films and numerous television appearances, died Sunday morning at The Cottages in Middleton.
Kennedy, 91, died of natural causes at 4:35 a.m., Canyon County Coroner Vicki DeGeus-Morris said.
“He had a history of heart problems,” DeGeus-Morris said.

Kennedy’s grandson, Cory Schenkel, told TMZ that his grandfather had been in failing health since his wife Joan died a little more than a year ago. Kennedy had been under hospice care for the past month, TMZ reported.
