Bundy had traveled Portland to show support for four protesters who were occupying a wildlife refuge facility in Burns.
Federal officials have been watching Bundy since the armed standoff, which ended peacefully amid a stand-down order to the BLM. Bundy's sons, Ammon and Ryan, were both involved in the standoff with federal authorities in Burns, and have since been arrested and charged with conspiracy to interfere with a federal officer.

That Oregon refuge incident resulted in the shooting death of Robert "LaVoy" Finicum by state police. Three of the four remaining occupiers who've been at the federal facility since Jan. 28 surrendered Thursday afternoon, putting an end to the standoff. Their surrender comes as FBI tactical teams pushed into refuge buildings with guns and armored vehicles and demanded they turn themselves in to authorities. A fourth, David Fry, said he wanted to "die a free man," and stood firm inside the facility, the Daily Mail reported. It's not clear what he meant by that statement, or how his occupation would end.
The elder Bundy had been headed to Oregon to meet with Nevada Assemblywoman Michele Fiore, who supports the occupiers, and to attend her news conference Thursday morning to talk about the refuge situation.
