Defend the republic

The United States of America is not a monarchy; it was established as a constitutional republic. President Obama is not a king.

I oppose the president's illegal immigration action. He has broken the law and violated the Constitution by trying to change the law unilaterally himself. The Constitution is clear: The president enforces the law. He should not change the law. If he is allowed to do so, it will set a dangerous and unconstitutional precedent that will put the United States government and religious liberties at great risk.

I will stand with Congress, including the chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, in support of the massive federal lawsuit filed by 24 states to stop the president's unconstitutional overreach. I am making my voice heard at the Supreme Court along with the American Center for Law and Justice's critical amicus brief to defend our Constitution from the attacks of a rogue president.
