(IJReview) The Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF) made Pittsburg, Kansas, its latest target after an "unnamed resident" complained about a "God Bless America" sign hanging at the local post office.
The sign's been hanging outside the post office for nearly 15 years, since shortly after the September 11, 2001 terror attacks.
The Morning Sun reports that after the resident made the FFRF aware of the situation, the organization filed its complaint, saying the sign violated the separation of church and state.
The banner was taken down.
But that's not the end of the story.
