The first video footage of a “60 Minutes” Australia crew that was attacked in Sweden on Feb. 29 was finally released Monday.

Journalist Liz Hayes and her crew with Channel 9 Australia headed to Rinkeby last month to report on African migrants and soon found out that “Little Mogadishu” is as hostile as advertised. It took mere seconds for a cameraman to have his foot run over on purpose. A gang of men also attacked once local cops left the scene.
“It’s a little more hostile than I had anticipated,” Hayes told guide and Avpixlat writer Jan Sjunnesson.
“Welcome to Rinkeby. It’s also called ‘Little Mogadishu,'” Sjunnesson replied.
“Is that what you’re worried about for the future of Sweden? This clash?” asked Hayes.
“Yes, of course. One of your crew members was run over by a car here and it took one half-minute. They didn’t have any reason to do that, did they?”

Hayes’ report noted that Sweden has 55 declared “no-go” zones as a result of Muslim immigration. Police must even escort ambulances in certain areas to ensure emergency workers’ safety.
“The majority are Muslims from East Africa, and they don’t assimilate well into the Swedish culture. They’re unemployed, and they’re poor,” Sjunnesson said.
The situation in Rinkeby, a suburb of Stockholm, is so bad that even after Hayes’ crew member had his foot run over, a policeman said it would be seen as an “aggressive” on their part to walk them through the town square.
Crime in Sweden surged last year after 163,000 migrants applied for asylum, which made it the highest per capita destination in Europe. The nation even made global headlines when an employee at a migrant reception center was killed on Jan. 25.
Alexandra Mezher, 22, was slain in Mölndal while trying to break up a fight between two teenagers. The young woman died of stab wounds inflicted by a migrant. Somali refugee Youssaf Khaliif Nuur, 15, has been charged with her murder.
News of no-go zones for non-Muslims in Western countries is not new, although Fox News actually issued an on-air apology in January 2015 after Islam expert Steve Emerson spoke on the subject with host Jeanine Pirro.
“To be clear, there is no formal designation of these zones in either country and no credible information to support the assertion that there are specific areas in these countries that exclude individuals based solely on their religion,” said “Fox Report” host Julie Banderas on Jan. 17, 2015.
WND responded by reminding readers that Europe is full of Muslim no-go zones, which have been documented for years.

Middle East foreign policy expert Daniel Pipes, director of the Middle East Forum, has regularly covered the French government’s 751 Zones Urbaines Sensibles, or Sensitive Urban Zones, which the state does not fully control.
The French zones were first identified by the government in 1996.
“These are not full-fledged no-go zones,” Pipes has explained, WND reported, “but, as the French nomenclature accurately indicates, ‘sensitive urban zones.’ In normal times, they are unthreatening, routine places. But they do unpredictably erupt, with car burnings, attacks on representatives of the state (including police), and riots.”
