Dear Mr. Trump,
Over the decades, I have now and then sent an email to a presidential candidate that benefited his campaign – namely Ross Perot and George W. Bush (against John Kerry). Today I hope to benefit your campaign with the following idea:
Just as the establishment started Project Stop Trump and NeverTrump, I suggest you start Project 1237. I suggest you point out that your biggest primary opponent is not Ted Cruz (or John Kasich), but the Republican establishment itself. Just as Cruz has all along been calling for all the other candidates' votes, claiming he is the only candidate who can stop you, I suggest you now call for all of Ted Cruz's votes as you are the only candidate who has a path to 1,237 delegates. Indeed, you are the only candidate who can beat the Republican establishment!

You can assure the American people that if you do not get the 1,237 delegates, the Republican establishment will ignore the will of the people and put the establishment's own guy in – maybe a Jeb Bush or a Mitt Romney. So you can level with the American people and tell them in your aggressive voice that this is a fight between them and the Republican establishment, and the only way their will cannot be suppressed is through Project 1237. Let them know that even if they love Ted Cruz, if no one gets 1,237 delegates, then the Republican establishment wins and the American people lose. They lose! That is the battle. Let the American people know this, and tell them that even if they are a Ted Cruz supporter, they need to cast their vote against the Republican establishment by participating in Project 1237 and casting their vote for you.
Project 1237 rises organically from what is going on with your campaign and with the Republican establishment. And you have to admit, it is poetic justice, convincing Cruz voters to cast their votes for you instead.

Mr. Trump, I doubt the Republican establishment is going to embrace your calls to unify, for you are just too much of a threat to their political power. You have come this far by being a fighter. This would make you the consummate fighter and the hero of the American people.
