(WJAC-TV) — JOHNSTOWN, Pa. – Former Pennsylvania educators convicted of crimes against students are still getting paid by the state.
6 News Investigates dug into more than a dozen state pension records and found five instances where a former school employee was convicted of a sex crime against a student and are still receiving an active pension. Each pension case is legal, according to Pennsylvania state law.
A Cambria County superintendent is not happy after 6 News Investigates brought to him details about how a state pension system is divvying up some of its money.
