[To Pat Buchanan:] Regarding your piece "A new GOP is born" – this is nothing new. In 2008 and 2012, the GOP sought to stop Ron Paul at the expense of General Election result. Incredibly, in 2008 – in the middle of a banking crisis – they brought forward their only member of the Keating Five.
The tactic successfully employed against Ron Paul – marginalization – clearly had no chance against Trump. The Donald's demeanor, as much as it comes naturally to him, is the necessary tactic to prevent himself from suffering the same fate as Paul.
With 2012 Romney donors giving 70 percent of their 2016 contributions to Hillary, it is clear that the only thing that matters is that an insider be elected,the two-party system being a fraud.
