(USA TODAY) ST. TROPEZ, France -- The scene at this Mediterranean glamour hotspot was pure Americana.
An Airstream trailer with Idaho license plates was set up to sell hamburgers. Another food tent called itself “Hells Pic-Nic.” There was a stall set up to sell denim overalls and flannel shirts. Among souvenirs were Route 66 signs; T-shirts emblazoned with eagles, motorcycles and skulls; Confederate flags with images of wolves and plenty of Harley-Davidson pins, badges and helmet stickers.
Thousands of Harley riders from throughout Europe gathered at Harley-Davidson’s 10th anniversary Euro Fest in Golfe de St. Tropez.
