Meet Obama’s ‘Satin Doll’

By Joseph Farah

It gets wackier and wackier.

Barack Obama last week named a transgender man named Barbara Satin to be a member of his Advisory Council on Faith-Based Neighborhood Partnerships – another obvious poke in the eye at America’s Bible-believing community.

I call him Obama’s “Satin Doll,” but, of course, I don’t know if “Barbara” pronounces his name that way. I will leave it to your imagination on the alternative.

You can hardly keep up with the White House freak show in Obama’s closing days.

Just wait until it comes time to issue pardons as his term expires. Don’t be surprised if he issues hundreds of blanket pardons a la Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe did last month, restoring voting rights and the privilege of serving on juries to 206,000 felons, including many violent offenders, among them some murderers and rapists. Obama may make it millions. Don’t put it past him. Remember, it’s about creating new Democratic voters and creating mayhem in our criminal justice system.

But I digress. Let’s talk about Satin.

In making the appointment, Obama described Satin and others appointed with him as “fine public servants [who] bring a depth of experience and tremendous dedication to their important roles. I look forward to working with them.”

Obama’s statement said Satin was the assistant faith work director for the National LGBTQ Task Force.

“She is an active member of the United Church of Christ and served on the denomination’s executive council as its first openly transgender member,” Obama said. “Ms. Satin recently worked on the development of Spirit on Lake, a LGBTQ senior housing project in Minneapolis. She served on the board of directors for OutFront Minnesota from 2001 to 2008 and has served as chair of GLBT Generations since 1999. She has also served on the board of directors of PFund Foundation, a regional LGBTQ community foundation advancing social justice in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin, since 2013.”

According to his/her biography, Satin, at the age of 54, took early retirement and “began to explore more fully her transgender identity. With the support of her children and a knowledgeable therapist, Barbara came to understand that her transgender identity was how God had made her and rather than being a curse it could be a blessing in her life.”

“I am both honored and humbled to be selected to serve on the president’s advisory council,” said Satin. “Given the current political climate, I believe it’s important that a voice of faith representing the transgender and gender non-conforming community – as well as a person of my years, nearly 82 – be present and heard in these vital conversations.”

Oh yes. Vital.

Satin, by the way, never went under the knife, so to speak. He’s still got all his male parts. He admits being attracted to women, was married and fathered three children. So this is an example of the kind of person who is free to use the same public bathroom at Target as your daughter. Keep that in mind.

This action, of course, follows Obama’s stunning and tyrannical decision to order public schools throughout America to allow transgender students to use the restrooms of their choice – threatening to withhold federal aid to any school district that balks.

What is Obama going to do next to top this?

Is Michelle going to come out of the closet as a transsexual?

I’ve got my eye on the pardons. He can do a lot of damage there. And it will, of course, follow the election, meaning he will be totally free to be Obama for the first time.

Can you imagine what he might do?

Should we give up on America? Is it too late for prayer? Has the die been cast on a horrendous and imminent judgment that we deserve, as His people sit by and watch this circus from hell?
