(The Oregonian) Starting Friday, people in Idaho 21 and over will no longer need a permit or training to carry a concealed gun within city limits, according to KREM 2.
While it's already legal in Idaho to carry a concealed gun without a permit outside city limits, starting July 1, city limits will no longer factor into where a person can or can't carry a concealed weapon.
In March, Idaho's governor, C.L. "Butch" Otter, signed Senate Bill 1389 into law, relaxing gun regulations in the state. The bill covers "any deadly weapon carried on or about the person in a manner not discernible by ordinary observation," which means it also applies to "any dirk, dirk knife, bowie knife, dagger" along with firearms.
