Now it’s presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton who is facing accusations of anti-Semitism.
Several days after the death of Elie Wiesel, the Democrat candidate’s campaign finally responded to the hateful comments of Max Blumenthal, son of longtime Clinton associate Sidney Blumenthal.
The Jerusalem Post quoted a statement from Clinton policy adviser Jake Sullivan, who claimed, “Secretary Clinton emphatically rejects these offensive, hateful and patently absurd statements about Elie Wiesel.”
Just hours after the internationally renowned author and Holocaust survivor died last weekend, Sidney Blumenthal’s son, Max, tweeted his contempt for the legendary figure because of Wiesel’s pro-Israel beliefs.
Elie Wiesel is dead. He spent his last years inciting hatred, defending apartheid & palling around with fascists. pic.twitter.com/3bRTq4QDye

Max Blumenthal also called Wiesel a supporter of “war crimes” who “should not be honored.”
Elie Wiesel went from a victim of war crimes to a supporter of those who commit them. He did more harm than good and should not be honored.

Bill Clinton’s childhood friend and former romantic partner, Dolly Kyle, isn’t buying Hillary’s attempt to distance herself from the scandal. The author of “Hillary The Other Woman” slammed the press for calling Donald Trump an “anti-Semite” while ignoring Hillary Clinton’s substantial connections to anti-Israel figures.
“Who printed and distributed Sidney Blumenthal’s emails with anti-Semite ‘news’ from his rabidly anti-Semite son Max Blumenthal?” she asked. “Hillary or Donald?”

Sidney Blumenthal, a longtime confidante of the presumptive Democrat nominee, is one of the figures Hillary Clinton exchanged emails with on her private server. Among those emails, Sidney Blumenthal sent to the then-secretary of state were articles from his son, Max. The emails released from Clinton’s private server reveal Hillary Clinton was a fan of Max Blumenthal’s work, commenting in response to one article, “A very smart piece – as usual.”
She also called Max a “mitzvah” while praising his work.
The Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported some of the articles Hillary received focused on policy regarding the Jewish state, including one of Max Blumenthal’s “excoriations” of Israel for the raid on the Mavi Marmara flotilla in 2010.
Hillary Clinton also praised Max Blumenthal’s first book, “Republican Gomorrah.” Released emails show not only Hillary Clinton’s closeness with Sidney Blumenthal, but her interest in his son Max’s career, including her hopes “Republican Gomorrah” was “still rising on the best-seller list.”
Blumenthal’s second book, the virulently anti-Israel “Goliath,” was slammed as extreme even by anti-Zionists.
Meanwhile, Sidney Blumenthal has profited handsomely from his continuing ties to the Clintons. Blumenthal earned approximately $10,000 a month as an employee of the Clinton Foundation as a full-time adviser to Hillary Clinton on matters involving policy toward Libya. Democrats on the House committee investigating the attacks on the American embassy in Benghazi also inadvertently revealed Blumenthal makes about $200,000 a year for his part-time work on behalf of various pro-Clinton organizations, including Media Matters, Correct the Record and American Bridge.
Clinton defended her ties with Blumenthal in 2015, defiantly proclaiming she would “keep talking to my old friends whoever they are.”
Kyle is familiar with Sidney Blumenthal, as she was on the receiving end of attacks by him while he was acting as a Clinton surrogate. She tells the story in “Hillary the Other Woman.”
However, she also suggests Hillary Clinton’s anti-Israel and anti-Semitic connections go beyond simply the people she knows. Three witnesses, including the subject of the attack, allege Hillary Clinton called campaign manager Paul Fray a “f—ng Jew b—–d” after Bill Clinton lost a bit for a congressional seat in 1974.
Both Clintons have denied the charges.
But Kyle called Hillary Clinton a “liar” and suggested the former first lady is a racist based on the way she treats non-whites. In “Hillary the Other Woman,” Kyle also alleges both Hillary and Bill Clinton used racial slurs against blacks and Jewish people.
Kyle also argued Clinton’s record as secretary of state reveals a willingness to help the enemies of Israel.
“Who approved the sale of $29 billion in fighter jets to Israel’s enemy Saudi Arabia?” asked Kyle. “Who plotted to depose Libya’s Moammar Gadhafi and arm the Israel-loathing ISIS rebels who ultimately massacred four Americans in Benghazi? Who took tens of millions of dollars in Clinton Foundation donations from terrorist-harboring countries who are sworn enemies of Israel?”
While Hillary Clinton’s record has largely escaped scrutiny, Trump has been under heavy criticism in recent days for supposedly using a “Star of David” in a tweet criticizing Hillary Clinton. Some critics have accused Trump of using the symbol as a “dog whistle” to anti-Semites.
However, Trump has denied the six-pointed star used was intended to refer to the Star of David.
Dishonest media is trying their absolute best to depict a star in a tweet as the Star of David rather than a Sheriff’s Star, or plain star!

Trump also spoke out on the death of Elie Wiesel, calling him a “great man.”
Just days before the Twitter controversy, Trump also energetically rebuked a questioner at one of his rallies who expressed his opposition to “Zionist Israel.”
Trump called the question “nasty” and restated his support for the Jewish state.
“Israel is a very, very important ally of the United States,” he said. “And we are going to protect them one hundred percent. They’ve been our most reliable, they’re our true friend over there and we’re going to protect Israel one hundred percent.”
The crowd also cheered when Trump asked rhetorically, “Are we all for Israel, right?”

Kyle noted the irony of the journalists’ attacks on Trump compared to their collective reluctance to investigate Hillary’s past. “It’s like the media is trying to protect her,” she said. “And it’s a simple question that goes to the heart of this campaign. Especially after FBI Director Comey’s press conference yesterday, who is the known liar? Who has something to hide? Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump?
“I think the answer is pretty obvious.”
