(NYPOST) — Dozens of city school safety agents were hospitalized after clashes with students in the first three months of the year, according to NYPD data.
Sixty-nine school safety officials suffered injuries after violent disputes on campuses across the city, figures released last week show.
Of those, 40 sustained injuries that were severe enough to require hospital visits, according to the NYPD’s data.

“This is a problem that’s getting worse,” said Greg Floyd, president of the school safety-agents union, Teamsters Local 237.
