I have read about Trump underperforming Romney. This shouldn’t be a surprise.
The plan was/is to have Trump run against Hillary to stop Ted Cruz from winning the GOP nomination. This is all to ensure that Ted Cruz is out, Trump loses (as planned), and Hillary gets in.
