Mr. Farah,
I do not disagree with your analysis of the Pence step-back on religious freedom; however, I do believe there is more to the story. Indianapolis is a sports mecca. The NCAA, other sports organizations and the sports media – all extremely left wing on social issues – came down hard on Pence, threatening ad hoc economic sanctions. I believe this aspect is just as important as his issues with how he was portrayed in the political arena.
