(SPORTS.YAHOO) — RIO DE JANEIRO – Amid all the fun and games, there are some dark moments in these Olympics. Yet another disturbing story broke on Monday, with news that a second boxer had been accused of sexual assault.
Jonas Junias of Namibia, who on Friday was one of nine boxers to serve as his country’s flag bearer, was arrested on allegations of sexually assaulting a housekeeper in the Olympic Village.
The International Boxing Association gave the following statement to Yahoo Sports:

“IBA has taken note of the serious allegations towards a Namibian boxer who was due to compete at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games. We understand that the situation is being dealt with by the local Brazilian authorities and have complete confidence that they will handle the matter appropriately. “
