(WCNC) YORK COUNTY, S.C. -- York County Police Detective Tim Buchanan died Saturday after suffering an apparent heart attack following the father-daughter dance at his daughter's wedding, according to a Go Fund Me account.
"During the wedding, after the father-daughter dance, Tim had a heart attack. Sadly, he didn't survive it," the Go Fund Me account stated that was set up for Buchanan's wife, Jeni. The wedding took place in Costa Rica.
Jeni took to Facebook to ask for privacy, prayers and to express her grievances saying, "Over the years we raised four amazing children," and that, "He was the most beautiful soul I have ever known and I will never be the same without him."
