[To Joseph Farah:] There was something you said in your column that hit me like a bolt of lightning. You said that Trump taking up the issue of Obama's birth certificate in 2010 led directly to his eventual nomination by the Republican Party for the presidency in 2016.
You're absolutely right! I just hadn't really thought it out. Think about it, Joseph; if you and Jerry Corsi hadn't relentlessly pursued the many discrepancies in Obama's life story, Trump more than likely never would have pursued the matter of Obama's birth certificate. Trump gained a following when he did, and that following grew into a movement. If you and Jerry hadn't done what true journalists are supposed to do, we very well might today be looking at a Jeb/Hillary contest!
