Hillary Clinton
GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump has outlined several proposals to defend the unborn in America, including the appointment of pro-life Supreme Court justices and a permanent ban on taxpayer funding of abortion.
Hillary Clinton, meanwhile, has advocated taxpayer funding of abortion and no restrictions, in accord with Planned Parenthood, which was exposed in a series of undercover videos profiting from the sale of baby body parts. The impact of the videos still is reverberating as states move to defund the abortion-industry giant and Congress investigates.

Trump's proposals were outlined in a campaign letter he signed that invited pro-life leaders to join his Pro-Life Coalition, headed by Marjorie Dannenfelser, the president of the Susan B. Anthony List.

Trump: 'Obama was born in the United States, period'
"Hillary Clinton not only supports abortion on demand for any reason, but she'd take it a step further: she wants to force the taxpayers to pay for abortions by repealing the bipartisan Hyde Amendment," Trump wrote. "Hillary Clinton also supports abortion until an hour before birth. And she will only appoint Supreme Court justices who share this view."

"She doesn't even try to hide her extremism," the letter said. "When asked on 'Meet the Press' when unborn children have constitutional rights, Clinton bluntly responded, 'The unborn person doesn't have constitutional rights.'
"She is so committed to this view that she proclaimed in a speech that 'religious beliefs … have to be changed' in order to advance her abortion agenda," it said.
Trump said then he is committed to nominating pro-life Supreme Court justices, signing the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, making the Hyde Amendment permanent law, defunding Planned Parenthood "as long as they continue to perform abortions" and instead sending the $500 million in taxpayer money each year to community health centers.
The Hyde Amendment bars the use of certain federal funds to pay for abortion except to save the life of the mother or in the case of incest or rape.

Dannenfelser said: "Not only has Mr. Trump doubled down on his three existing commitments to the pro-life movement, he has gone a step further in pledging to protect the Hyde Amendment and the conscience rights of millions of pro-life taxpayers. For a candidate to make additional commitments during a general election is almost unheard of.
"The contrast could not be clearer between the two tickets, and I am proud to serve as national chairwoman for Donald Trump's Pro-Life Coalition," she said.
Planned Parenthood has been tied up in recent months with the reaction to the revealing undercover videos.
A Planned Parenthood-linked Texas prosecutor dismissed charges against the undercover investigators, and now there are calls for a special prosecutor to go back and look at claims against Planned Parenthood.

In the first undercover video, released by the Center for Medical Progress, Deborah Nucatola of Planned Parenthood commented on crushing babies.
"We've been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so I'm not gonna crush that part, I'm gonna basically crush below, I'm gonna crush above, and I'm gonna see if I can get it all intact," she said.
