(Boston Globe) Who is the 33-year-old man who allegedly donned a bulletproof vest and opened fire with an assault rifle and handgun on police officers in East Boston?

The suspect, who was killed in the gun battle, was identified as Kirk Figueroa.

A Ford Crown Victoria with the name of a website, Elite Policing.org, was towed from the scene by police Thursday. The Globe has confirmed Figueroa is the person whose biography and photograph are posted on that website.
