(TORONTO SUN) A disgraced teacher fired for having sex with a 17-year-old student is claiming the boy seduced her.
Mary Beth Haglin – canned from her Iowa teaching job – told Dr. Phil the boy swept her off her feet.
“He did so with such intelligence and such an elevated vocabulary that I was completely duped by the whole facade,” the 24-year-old told the TV psychologist. “He caught me in my weakest moments, and he used that to his advantage.”
