(JerusalemOnline) A year after the murder of Alexander Levlovich, which marks the start of the current terror wave, the Israel Police and other security forces are on high alert in Jerusalem and the West Bank ahead of the eve of Rosh Hashanah, which begins this evening (Sunday).

Starting tonight at midnight, the West Bank will be sealed off and all the border crossings into Gaza will be closed. The IDF Spokesperson’s Unit stated that only Palestinians with humanitarian, medical and urgent cases will be allowed to pass the blockade into Israel. All cases will need to be approved by the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories. The blockade will be removed on Tuesday evening a minute before midnight in accordance to the security assessment.
