(CTV News) A French fashion designer, known for dressing first lady Michelle Obama, has vowed to never outfit incoming first lady Melania Trump. She made the pledge in an open letter posted online on Thursday.
Sophie Theallet writes that she is boycotting Melania because she objects to the policies her husband president-elect Donald Trump espoused during the U.S. election.
"As one who celebrates and strives for diversity, individual freedom, and respect for all lifestyles, I will not participate in dressing or associating in any way with the next First Lady," Theallet writes.
