(WASHINGTON EXAMINER) — President-elect Trump is reportedly weighing two conservative media figures for high-level positions in his administration, the latest evidence that Trump plans to reward those who have defended him since the beginning of his long-shot campaign.
Laura Ingraham, conservative radio host, Fox News contributor and LifeZette editor in chief, is a leading contender to become press secretary, CNN reported Monday. Richard Grenell, a national security commentator for Fox News and spokesman for the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations under President George W. Bush, is under consideration to be U.S. ambassador to the U.N., the Associated Press reported Monday.
Both served as vocal supporters of Trump throughout the presidential race. Ingraham even aided Trump with debate preparations and provided occasional political counsel.
