Is it time to defund or deport United Nations? I couldn’t resist sharing what a cousin of mine told me about 10 years ago while we were passing the U.N. building.
He said, “You know, I grew up around here and remember what used to be on the land where the U.N. is standing now – a slaughterhouse.” He paused for a moment and then added, “Not much has changed on this spot. They used to shovel manure and spill blood, and now they still shovel manure and spill blood.”
Sad but true.
