(WASHINGTON TIMES) Wegmans Food Markets is the latest retailer to face boycott calls for carrying Trump products.
Members of the Prince William County, Virginia, chapter of the National Organization for Women — the country’s largest feminist organization — are pressuring the New York-based grocery store chain to stop selling Trump Winery products at its 10 Virginia stores, The Washington Post reported Tuesday.
Jo Natale, a Wegmans spokeswoman, said the company has been selling wines from the winery in Charlottesville, Virginia, since 2008, when it was still operated by Kluge Estate Winery and Vineyard. President Trump bought the property in 2011 for $6.2 million, and it’s now run by his son Eric.
