When the fight to legalize abortion began, back in the ’60s and corresponding with the women’s lib movement, I was a student on the campus of the University of British Columbia. The mantra of the feminists was that a woman should have the “right to choose” regarding her own body, and that should include her unborn baby.
Fast-forward to 2014 and beyond, when it was revealed that abortion provider Planned Parenthood was selling “baby parts.”
If we accept the argument that the baby is “owned” by the mother, then shouldn’t the mother be the one who would receive the revenue from selling her aborted baby? Therefore, doesn’t it make sense that the aborting women be allowed to sue Planned Parenthood in a class-action suit to get reimbursed for the sale of their unborn babies?
