Surprise, surprise: Hillary Clinton was a raving mad super witch to her campaign staffers – and she got “so mad she couldn’t think straight” after Democratic Party candidate Bernie Sanders stole Michigan from her grasp during the 2016 primary in March.
In fact, top aides say Hillary, who was “visibly p—ed off,” attacked them with a “potent mix of exhaustion and exasperation” after the unexpected and embarrassing defeat in which she lost to Sanders 49 percent to 48 percent.
During another Hillary freakout, husband and former President Bill Clinton jumped in and began ripping into her aides. He gave them an “a– chewing” on the phone and demanded that they “do their damn jobs.”
Hillary’s epic tantrums continuously plagued her campaign, according to the new book, “Shattered: Inside Hillary Clinton’s Doomed Campaign,” by political writers Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes, who claim to have had “deep access to insiders from the top to the bottom of the campaign.”
The book, which is scheduled to be released next week, says Hillary’s presidential campaign was “living in denial.”
Neither Hillary nor Bill “could accept the simple fact that Hillary had hamstrung her own campaign and dealt the most serious blow to her own presidential aspirations,” the authors explain.
During his Wednesday show, talk-radio superstar Rush Limbaugh called the book a “devastating look at the Clinton campaign.”
“It focuses and highlights all of the infighting, the very low morale, the lack of trust between Hillary and her many staffers, the intervention of Bill Clinton trying to save the day and failing, all of the heated exchanges,” Limbaugh said. “And the book doesn’t say one thing about the Russians being responsible for any of it.”
Limbaugh continued: “[The book] confirms what many people have speculated, that it was a bunch of people thinking they were guaranteed to win, nobody working really hard, nobody thinking very straight about it. It’s a fascinating read.”
After a Michigan loss, which the books says “robbed her of a prime opportunity to put Sanders down for good but also exposed several of her weaknesses,” Hillary’s preparations for her fourth debate against Sanders quickly deteriorated.
So, naturally, Hillary began launching into her staff.
During a morning conference call, she ripped into her team: “We haven’t made our case. We haven’t framed the choice. We haven’t done the politics,” she said.
An aide who was present for the “humiliating” incident said: “She was visibly, unflinchingly p—ed off at us as a group. And she let us know she felt that way.”
Hillary’s staff tried to reason with her, suggesting they had focused on delivering the wrong message to Michigan. And she failed to come out against free trade, as Sanders had. The campaign had a shortage of organizers on the ground and hadn’t conducted accurate polling. They weren’t even aware Sanders had pulled ahead.
Ultimately, in the general election, President Donald Trump won Michigan and its 16 electoral votes by 47.5 percent to 47.27 percent.
Hillary emailed communications director Robby Mook, telling him her team had focused too much on Detroit and Flint rather than reaching out to voters in the white working-class suburbs.
Mook attempted to calm Hillary during a morning conference, according to the book, but his efforts left her “more perplexed and angry.”
“Shattered” explains: “The underlying truth – the one that many didn’t want to admit to themselves – was the person ultimately responsible for these decisions, the one whose name was on the ticket, hadn’t corrected these problems, all of which had been brought to her attention before primary day. She’d stuck with the plan, and it had cost her.”
Hillary’s chief strategist, Jake Sullivan, attempted to prepare her for the upcoming Miami debate.
But Hillary came unglued.
After one of Hillary’s answers, Sullivan was blunt: “That’s not very good.”
“Really?” Hillary snapped at him as the room grew quiet. “Why don’t you do it?”
So the two switched roles. Sullivan mimicked Hillary’s performance as she relentlessly attacked him.
Hillary kept cutting Sullivan off, telling him: “That isn’t very good. You can do better.”
Months earlier, the media were abuzz over Hillary’s use of a private email server. Hillary blasted her staff for not pushing the media to focus on her message instead of the email scandal.
As she exploded into a conference call with her team, the book says, Bill Clinton was “spurring [his wife] on to cast blame on others and never admit to anything.”
Hillary used a voice that was “severe” and “controlled” like a “disappointed teacher or mother delivering a lecture before a whipping,” the authors said.
They wrote: “That back end was left to Bill, who lashed out with abandon. Eyes cast downward, stomachs turning – both from the scare tactics and from their own revulsion at being chastised for Hillary’s failures – Hillary’s talented and accomplished team of professionals and loyalists simply took it. There was no arguing with Bill Clinton.”
The former president ripped into the staffers for not having “buried this thing” and for not working harder to “get Hillary’s core message to the voters.”
“[T]his has been dragging on for months, he thundered, and nothing you’ve done has made a damn bit of difference.”
Bill insisted the staff focus on pushing Hillary’s economic plans and “do your damn jobs.”
When Hillary came back to the phone, her staff couldn’t determine what was worse: “getting hollered at by bill or getting scolded by the stern and self-righteous Hillary.”
“Shattered” isn’t the first account of Hillary’s explosive tantrums and meltdowns.
As WND reported in November, Hillary was said to have become “physically violent” after she lost the election. According to “Guilty As Sin” author Ed Klein, she began “crying” so much that it was “hard to understand what she was saying.” Klein said she even turned combative against her staff.
Hillary has been known to fly into foul-mouthed fits of rage, hurl dangerous objects at people’s heads, physically attack Bill Clinton and even diabolically tongue-lash Secret Service agents sworn to protect her with their lives.
Her expletive-laced explosions are enough to make any right-minded American recoil in horror.
During her campaign for the Democratic Party nomination and the presidency, Hillary reportedly made the lives of her staffers a living hell.
“Hillary’s been having screaming, child-like tantrums that have left her staff members in tears and unable to work,” a campaign aide told Klein in 2015, according to a New York Post report. “She thought the nomination was hers for the asking, but her mounting problems have been getting to her, and she’s become shrill and, at times, even violent.”
According to the report, Hillary blasted a low-level campaign worker who had made a scheduling mistake. When Hillary viciously berated her, the worker turned and began to walk away. That’s when Hillary reportedly grabbed her by the arm.
In one June 2016 report, it was revealed Hillary hurled a Bible at a Secret Service agent’s head, according to former agent Gary Byrne, who said her explosions grew worse as the Clintons’ time in the White House went on.
Byrne warned Hillary was too “erratic, uncontrollable and occasionally violent” for the presidency.
Hillary has even “beaten Bill, hit him with hard objects, scratched and clawed him, and made him bleed,” according to the 2015 book, “The Clintons’ War on Women,” by authors Robert Morrow and Roger Stone.
These stories of Hillary’s explosive and violent tantrums are also confirmed the 2016 book, “Hillary the Other Woman,” by Dolly Kyle:
“[M]any people gloss over the reports about what I call Hillary’s vexcapades, her screaming, cursing, and throwing fits usually as a result of Billy’s sexcapades. Ordinary folks can easily understand how she would be upset with him for having sex with untold numbers of other women while ‘married’ to Hillary. Many people think that her behavior was justified by his provocations, no matter what she said or did. … I’ve heard troopers telling funny stories about Hillary that really weren’t funny, such as slamming kitchen cabinets so hard that the doors came off the hinges, and throwing glassware across the room. … Hillary could get away with it as long as she didn’t do it in public. If anyone ever reported her behavior, then that person was swiftly condemned in public as a liar. … Hillary’s contemptuous, uncontrolled outbursts are so extreme that most people cannot wrap their minds around the possibility that a First Lady could act like that.”
In October, WND published the following top 36 Hillary F-bombs, flip-outs and eye-popping tantrums.
