(WASHINGTON EXAMINER) — Matt Drudge, editor and founder of the influential Drudge Report, accused Washington Post and Amazon owner Jeff Bezos of deliberately pushing his publication to write negative news about President Trump.
“WASHPOST owner personally motivated in bloodsport after Trump threat of AMAZON monopoly breakup,” Drudge wrote Tuesday on Twitter, referring to comments Trump made about Bezos during the 2016 campaign. “Follow the clicks!”
Trump said during the campaign that Amazon has a “huge antitrust problem,” and said he suspected that Bezos opposed Trump’s presidential run in part because Trump might seek to do something about it.
