(OMAHA.COM) A Honduran man has been sentenced to 24 to 34 years in prison — a term that is cut in half under state sentencing guidelines — for backing over and killing a co-worker with whom he had been drinking.
After a five-day trial that ended March 3, a judge found Orling Carrasco-Zelaya, 28, guilty of motor vehicle homicide and leaving the scene of a deadly accident.
