Once again, our social media feeds, TV screens, radios and Internet browsers have delivered to us a brutally confronting dose of reality from the so-called “religion of peace.” Twenty-two adults, children and teens were mercilessly massacred and scores of others seriously wounded when Salman Abedi, a British-born Muslim suicide bomber detonated an IED in a packed Ariana Grande pop concert at the Manchester Arena in the UK. This is the second attack in the country in the space of just two months and the seventh terrorist attack in Europe so far this year.
Abedi had recently returned from Libya (his parents’ birthplace), had links with ISIS and had also come back from a trip to Syria. Interior Minister Amber Rudd admitted Abedi had likely not acted alone (bye-bye “lone-wolf attack” narrative), as military forces were being deployed to key sites across Britain to help prevent further attacks after the official threat level was raised to “critical.”
Like the Westminster Muslim attacker who rammed his car into a crowd in March, killing three, the Manchester attacker was also known to authorities. Did they act on the information they had about him? No. Instead 22 lives were once again sacrificed on the altar of political correctness! As Tommy Robinson rightly noted on Twitter: “We are sitting ducks as our ‘security’ services allow THOUSANDS of Jihadis to walk freely because they don’t pose an ‘immediate’ threat.”
It is necessary that we ask ourselves why these kind of attacks continue to happen. The simple answer is: The political class and today’s virtue-signaling, social-justice-warrior pop culture is more interested in the appeasement and a “hands-off” (more like “hands up”) approach to a violent ideology that is hell-bent on killing the “infidels” (Westerners) than preventing this horror and bloodshed in the first instance. It is this foolish political prostration, self-loathing and misappropriated notion of “tolerance” that is causing Europe to reap the “benefits” of the “cultural enrichment” and “diversity” it has meticulously cultivated. How about we be honest with ourselves and admit that fundamental Islamists have zero interest in assimilation and integration into a society based upon Judaeo-Christian values?
Then there were those usual frightbats on Twitter who were more outraged about Muslims facing “Islamophobia” and “racism” following the attack than the barbaric act itself. Which one is more important? Hurting feelings or preventing innocent young girls from getting maimed and blown to smithereens? I think I know which one I’d rather. But no, these social justice warriors upon the mere newsbyte of an explosion going off or a car being rammed into a crowd throw a hissy fit over the potential of a backlash against Muslims. In fact, even as I write this, British police are investigating politically incorrect tweets on Twitter for supposedly inciting “racial hatred” of Muslims. (Last time I checked, Islam was not a race!)
As usual, the establishment media were overly reticent to pin the blame on the attack for Islam to the extent of resorting to fabricated and outlandish conspiracy theories such as one CNN analyst who claimed the attack could have been a “false flag” by “right wing extremists.”
In another example, Cosmopolitan magazine was busy attempting to cushion Muslims from the inevitable backlash of the fed-up politically incorrect  –  albeit to their great embarrassment where, for example, they deliberately claimed a Muslim taxi driver took kids home from the concert for free after the attack. Ahem, the guy was a Sikh, and the photo they used clearly showed him as one! As Infowars’ Paul Joseph Watson rightly pointed out, “The fact that some Muslim taxi drivers are offering free lifts does not negate the fact that Islam has a problem with violence.”
Then we had the Independent trying to tell us to “carry on exactly as before.” Meanwhile, BBC anchor Katty Kay told viewers that Europeans must “get used to terror attacks because we are never going to be able to totally wipe this out.” Hmmm those words sound familiar, don’t they? That’s right, throwback to September 2016 when London’s Muslim Mayor Sadiq Khan said terror attacks are “part and parcel” of urban life, just hours after an Islamic terrorist bombed his city. And these are just a few examples, but the general view of the political class and the regressive left is that terrorism is normal and we’ve just got to put up with it. I challenge these foolish individuals to try telling their pure idiocy to the parents of those who lost loved ones in this attack or those teenage girls who will have to live for the rest of their lives without limbs.
How long before the West realizes that Islam is not a religion of peace and that we’ve been at war with this ideology for over 1,400 years? Islam has never and will never ever be compatible with Judaeo-Christian values. No amount of Islamic reform will change this. We need to take this formidable threat seriously. We can’t carry on with our lives like nothing has happened. To do that is to do a great disservice to ourselves and our children. As journalist Mike Cernovich aptly put it, “Little girls are dying because men are not saying what needs to be said.”
Sadly, until we do something serious about the source of these terrorist attacks, it is inevitable that more innocent little 8-year-old girls like Saffie Rose Roussos will be tragically killed. The victims of this latest attack never dreamed they would be the victims, that they end up bleeding to death in pools of their own blood and guts. Next time it could be me or you, and that’s a chilling thought.
It is time to do away with the stupid hashtags, the cringey calls for tolerance, the empty, meaningless celebrity platitudes, the candlelight vigils and the stupid Facebook flag filter thing. What we need is real change. Real action. Real radical policy change. We need to prevent these people who espouse barbarous, murderous Quranic beliefs from entering our countries in the first place. We need to implement extreme vetting and strict quotas on Muslim migrants, solitary confinement of those who would seek to “radicalize” fellow Muslims in prison and implement hefty consequences for those who attempt to smuggle in Muslim terrorists and sympathize with Muslim terror groups. Enough is enough.
