Your suggestion that the FBI’s files are the final answer to Muhammad Ali’s legacy is ludicrous!
J. Edgar Hoover was a known racist! He sought to discredit any organization that promoted the emancipation of black folk in this bigoted land of the free. He even sought to discredit the great Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. J. Edgar Hoover resented Dr. King’s erudition, his improbable accomplishments, his ability to galvanize ALL races toward a common cause!
The veracity of any FBI file should be questioned, assiduously. The FBI was skewed obstreperously against black Americans who sought leadership roles. Hoover embodied the ” blue-eyed devil” persona! This diabolical agency hasn’t changed much since his demise. The FBI represents the antithesis of any effort designed to promote the advancement of colored~black souls in this constraining racist xenophobic conglomeration of territories referred to as the United States of America.
