(The Tennessean) Rescue operations at Cummins Falls State Park have ended for the day, but one person remains missing, according to Jackson County EMS.
All of the rest of the people trapped by fast-rising waters at the park were successfully returned to safety Wednesday. However, a 73-year-old woman was still missing when rescue efforts were called off for the day.
The search for the missing woman will resume Thursday morning, Jackson County emergency officials said Wednesday night.
