In your column of July 4th in WND you made the following reference: How would a national referendum on the Constitution turn out, when many Americans are already seeking a new constitutional convention? I was wondering if by this, you were referring to the states that have approved an Article V Convention of the States?
If so, I believe you need to read Mark Levin's "The Liberty Amendments," if you haven't. A Convention of the States is not a call for a constitutional convention to rewrite the Constitution, but rather a meeting of state delegations to propose amendments that would have to go through the same ratification process as an amendment proposed by Congress. Big difference!
