Big difference!

By WND Staff

Mr Buchanan:

In your column of July 4th in WND you made the following reference: How would a national referendum on the Constitution turn out, when many Americans are already seeking a new constitutional convention? I was wondering if by this, you were referring to the states that have approved an Article V Convention of the States?

If so, I believe you need to read Mark Levin’s “The Liberty Amendments,” if you haven’t. A Convention of the States is not a call for a constitutional convention to rewrite the Constitution, but rather a meeting of state delegations to propose amendments that would have to go through the same ratification process as an amendment proposed by Congress. Big difference!

Wouldn’t you agree that Congress will never propose the necessary amendments to reclaim our constitutional republicanism?
