Draining the Washington, D.C., swamp of corruption, blackmail and murder is something that not only can be done – it must be done. No one ever said it would be easy. It’s doubtful anyone other than Donald Trump would have tried.
It’s much easier to go along to get along. It’s not your money. So what if ordinary Americans are ground into the dust? The important thing is your family and friends, right?
Leading indicators
The Democratic Party has always led in corruption. I think the reason is that they view government as their god. Nirvana is always one election away, at least to their blinded eyes. Any actions they take, no matter how vile or criminal, are justifiable for the “good” of the people, who in the end must be made to bow down and worship the golden calf of government.
Corrupt people are often – not always, but often – underachievers. That’s why they became corrupt. They lack the skills and ambition to excel, but they make up for it with an old-boy network of like-minded souls.
One of the things Democrats almost always do when the SHTF is to accuse others of precisely the behavior of which they, themselves, are guilty. Since 96 percent of big-media people donate to Democrats, that puts them in the same swamp pond.
When shrieks of, “Russia! Russia! Russia!” fill the media airwaves, you can bet your last Ben Franklin that the Democrats had their hands in Putin’s pockets for election assistance and opposition dirt-digging long before anybody else ever gave Russia a thought. For example, didn’t Hillary make some nice money selling U.S. uranium resources to the Russians? Didn’t the then-No. 2 at the FBI, Andrew McCabe, and wifey get a nice, fat, half-a-million dollars from the Clinton machine so that wifey could afford to run for elected office – while McCabe headed the Hillary investigation?
Didn’t Project Veritas produce videos of Democratic voter fraud in action? Didn’t the D.C. uniparty manage to twist Jeff Sessions’ arm over Russia just enough to cause him to agree to hand it all over to a special counsel who would look into it? Now it’s open season on Donald Trump.
Saturday Night Massacre?
The Democrats and the uniparty know it’s all a drug-induced, Van Jones nothing-burger. Investigating any Russian election meddling (remember Obama’s election operatives in Israel?) was never the purpose of a special counsel. Tying Trump’s hands so the D.C. swamp could survive four lean years and then come roaring back to power was always the objective. That’s how underachievers maintain and grow their power over the rest of us. Either that or … well, ask Seth Rich’s ghost if you see him walking the streets some evening.
America now has a president willing to fight for the middle class – you know, the people whose labor generates the money to pay all the bills for Democrats’ nirvanaland. If Trump goes down – which is what the D.C. swamp wants – it’s over. The corrupt will seal their hold on power in Washington and run America as their private piggy bank until the nation collapses.
At this moment, the swamp dwellers think they have Trump’s hands tied. They think he’s going to back off draining the swamp and watch while an army of uniparty lawyers probe every aspect of his existence, leak their findings – real or imaginary – to the 96 percent Democratic press on a daily basis and destroy him, his family and his business empire, all for daring to challenge their corrupt hold on the nation from the day when JFK bought the Illinois vote and ushered in Camelot.
Given the prospect of a ruined presidency, ruined family, ruined business empire, Donald Trump may just decide to launch the fight of his life. That would start with a Saturday Night Massacre that cleans out the Justice Department of anyone appointed during the last eight or nine years. They’d have to be replaced with attorneys from other parts of the country. Thin the old-boy network herd.
With the Justice Department in turmoil, Congress would convene impeachment hearings in the House. They’ve never encountered a Republican who will fight, however. I’d venture to say at least half of the House is dirty enough from their tenure in the D.C. uniparty that the right information would send each of them to prison. This president will provide it. Remember those new attorneys in the Justice Department? They will be very busy, indeed!
Finally, there is one thing Donald Trump can do that no other president within living memory could have done. He could bring 10 million angry people to D.C. who know exactly where to target their rage.
Bottom line: I don’t think the president is impeachable.
There is one more reason I don’t think Trump is impeachable …
