Woman convicted of murder in pet-parrot murder case

(London Metro) A woman has been found guilty of murdering her husband after a parrot witnessed the shooting.

Bud the bird repeated ‘don’t shoot!’ after Glenna Duram, 49, shot Martin Duram, 46, five times in May 2015.

Glenna Duram, of Michigan, suffered a head wound in what prosecutors said was a suicide attempt, but survived.

Martin Duram’s ex-wife, Christina Keller, has said that after the slaying, the pet parrot, repeated the phrase in Martin Duram’s voice. Keller took ownership of the bird after Martin Duram’s death.
