(Circa) Charles Manson disciple Leslie Van Houten was granted parole by a California parole panel on Wednesday.
Gov. Jerry Brown now has a 120-day period to affirm, reverse or take no action on the decision.
Last year, a similar panel at the California Institution for Women in Chino, where Van Houten is incarcerated, granted her parole but it was overruled by the governor.
