Sanhedrin duplicity?

By the logic you put forward from the Sanhedrin that Christians and Jews are “co-religionists,” there should be no rational basis for forbidding Christians to be married by rabbis in Israel. Earlier you reported that the Sanhedrin objected to messianic Christian marriages because the Christians were somehow “misrepresenting” themselves as Jewish when they were in fact not Jewish.

So, which is it really? If we judge by the Sanhedrin’s actions, then Jews and Christians are not co-religionists. If we judge by what the Sanhedrin says, then they are.
