Calling all soldiers to be part of God's army

As usual, you have used your journalistic gifts to focus our attention on God as the source of everything we enjoy and celebrate on Thanksgiving.

One of the most important realities is God's participation in the election of Trump as our president!

Trump is a proud and powerful warrior for God, Christians and our "One Nation Under God." Trump has made a "yuge" commitment to fight against large, ineffective government; dangerous immigration; slimy politicians in the "swamp," wasteful and illegal squandering of jobs, resources, money, technology, etc., to hostile societies and countries; and Muslim jihad that seeks to destroy our Christian society. We must pray fervently that Trump will look to God for wisdom, strength, perseverance and success!

My concern continues to be about the U.S. citizens who are largely on the sidelines expecting Trump or others to "fix the problems." We must continue to prod them to take a stand for God and our nation. We must exhort them to become active members of Trump's army going forward and following God's leadership and principles.

We have richly benefited from the commitments, sacrifices and successes of our ancestors who trusted in God. Now, we are responsible as the "salt of the earth" to restore our country as "One Nation Under God."

May our efforts be refocused and committed as soldiers in God's army according to the principles outlined in Ephesians 5.
